Dr. Remick pursued a career in medicine to help his patients. As his training progressed, he was especially drawn to the challenges and rewards of taking care of cancer patients and more than anything supporting them and their families along their cancer journey. An oncologist must have a broad base of medical knowledge and be sensitive to a patient’s wishes. Dr. Remick is an advocate for a true partnership in care and providing access to state-of-the-art care onto cancer clinical trials. He hopes to bring these perspectives to his largely administrative responsibilities as they build their cancer services that are truly patient-centered.
