Jen Perros is the Medical Education Program Administrator II for the Surgery Residency Program and the Supervisor for the Surgical Based Community. Jen received her Bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies from the University of New Hampshire. Prior to moving to Maine and joining the Department of Medical Education in July of 2014 Jen worked as a GME program coordinator for four years in Chicago. In October 2014 Jen had the opportunity to attend the New Innovations Training Conference with three of her colleagues and since that time has been working with that group to provide training and promote the sharing of best practices among the group of Medical Education Program Administrators at MMC as well with Program Directors and Faculty.
Jen lives in Portland with her husband and they enjoy taking their two dogs with them as the explore this very dog friendly area.
