The curriculum for the scholars is tailored to the interests and needs of each class. Seminars and workshops are typically held from 5:30pm – 8:00pm on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays in the Medical Education Department on the Brighton Campus. Scholars participate directly in presenting papers (“journal club”) and regular updates on their projects from 5:30pm – 6:00pm with a seminar from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Seminar and workshop topics include education research, teaching methods, education theory, health and education policy and systems, education leadership and education career development.
