Dr. Jane Pringle is an internist and began her practice in Maine in 1976. She received her MD degree from Case Western Reserve University. She completed her internal medicine training at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Canada. She has held leadership positions at Maine Medical Center, which included Director of the Internal Medicine Outpatient Clinic. Jane has been active in advocacy work with our state government.

 

Dr. Bud Higgins is well-known to Maine Medical Center, having served in multiple senior leadership roles, including being the Chief of the Emergency Medicine Department, and Vice President for Medical Affairs. He was instrumental in beginning the Emergency Medicine residency at MMC, as well as facilitating the partnership with Tufts University School of Medicine and the start of Maine Track.

 

Dr. Cecilia Caldwell went to school for pharmacy at the University of Rhode Island, and completed her MD degree at Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. Her introduction to MMC was through an Acting Internship here, and then she completed her OB/GYN residency at MMC. Cecilia became a member of the MMC medical staff in 1989, and was a member of an independent practice in Portland for many years.
