Wellness in Teaching: Finding Balance through Yoga, Mindfulness and Resilience

Features of the Program:
Yoga practice provides a wealth of health benefits as well as a perfect practical application of flow, mindfulness and resilience. The Department of Medical Education will be hosting an Inter-professional Wellness in Teaching pilot study.* The program consists of:
- Six workshops focused on teaching the concepts of Flow, Mindfulness and Resilience. Workshops will take place Tuesday evenings Sept 5, 2017- Oct 10, 2017 from 5:30p-7:30p, a dinner will be provided from a menu focused on wellness and healthy eating.
- Participants are asked to attend a minimum of two yoga classes at Portland Power Yoga per week at the attendees discretion and what works best with their own personal schedule, click here for their current schedule which is subject to change slightly. (All yoga classes, mats and towels will be provided through the program. Please note you are welcome to attend any type of yoga practice provided at Portland Power Yoga, however the majority of their classes are heated).
