We are thrilled that Dr. Valerie Stone will deliver our Keynote and offer some inspiration to us regarding our work in primary care. She is the Charles S. Davidson Professor of Medicine at HMS and Chair of Medicine at Mount Auburn Hospital. She is an active primary care physician and educator in both the outpatient and inpatient setting. Until May 2014, Dr. Stone was Director of the Primary Care Internal Medicine Residency Program at MGH.
The conference also features morning and afternoon hands-on clinical and educational workshops in an interactive small group format. After lunch, Dr. Frank Domino will present his fantastic “10 Things I Learned in Practice Last Year” (Dr. Domino is the author of Domino’s 5-Minute Clinical Consult). Receive up to 6.5 HOURS in Category I credits toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. Workshops will include geriatric and pain content that will help fulfill your Massachusetts CME requirements in both of those areas. There is NO FEE to attend the conference. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are included. The conference is geared toward our faculty who teach in a primary care setting. All disciplines are welcome to attend. Fellows and residents are of course welcome. Please take just a minute or two to register online for the conference by clicking this link below.
